In the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, connectivity gains were more widespread than losses, highlighting continued unevenness across countries, with larger hub economies showing stability and smaller markets experiencing more volatile percentage changes.
Mauritania recorded the highest growth globally, with an increase of 65.4%. Other major increases were observed in Sierra Leone with +61.9%, Cameroon with +61.2%, St Pierre & Miquelon with +55.5%, and Israel with +54.8%.
The sharpest decreases were recorded in Gibraltar (-37.7%), Haiti (-29.8%), and Maldives (-28.1%).
