| †FAQ † | About UNCTADstat
All statistics of UNCTAD are harmonized and integrated into UNCTADstat- free to use dissemination platform. It gives access to basic and derived indicators built upon common rules, harmonized environment and clear methodology supported by powerful data browsing system.
The statistical series are regularly updated and classified into easy-to-navigate themes. UNCTADstat offers ready-to-use analytical groupings, with a unique coverage for countries and products and a particular focus on developing and transition economies. This approach ensures data consistency across multiple data series, and enables users to harness its full potential by mixing and matching data from various domains.
The navigation browser allows table or graphic presentations, easy selection and reorganization of data, personalized functionalities and several straightforward extraction options.
Unless otherwise specified, country aggregates are the sums of the relevant country data by group. Calculations of aggregates may in some cases include data estimated by the UNCTAD secretariat that are not necessarily all reported separately.
Because of rounding, details and percentages in tables do not necessarily add up to totals.
Data were collected and checked to ensure that they matched the geographical coverage of the countries, as described at classification web page. However, some gaps could not be avoided due to data unavailability and are explained in table notes.
Unless otherwise stated, dollars refer to United States dollars and data in dollars are expressed in current United States dollars of the year to which they refer.
UNCTAD strives for the highest level of accuracy and is committed to promptly correcting any errors on its part. It does not guarantee or make any express or implied representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, correctness, fitness for use for a particular purpose, or otherwise, whatsoever, of any of the tables in UNCTADstat.
All data and metadata provided on UNCTADstat may be copied freely, duplicated and further distributed provided that they are not put up for sale or otherwise commercially exploited and that UNCTADstat is cited as the source. For any re-dissemination of UNCTADstat data and metadata for commercial use, please send the request in writing to the Secretary of the Publication Board (firstname.lastname@example.org).
